About The Trichologist

Trichologist Sally-Ann Tarver and the Cotswold Trichology Centre

The Cotswold Trichology Centre is the Midlands’ leading Trichologist hair loss and scalp treatment clinic for men, women and children. We are a dedicated Trichology Clinic, open 5 days a week and do not share our purpose designed premises with any other professions.

Established in 1998, The Cotswold Trichology Centre has over 12-years experience in diagnosis, treatment and advice on all manner of hair loss and scalp problems including Alopecia Areata, Alopecia Totalis, male baldness, female hair loss, sudden hair loss, itchy flaky scalp conditions, hair damage and condition issues.

The Cotswold Trichology Centre is run by Managing Director Sally-Ann Tarver MIT.LTTS, a fully qualified Trichologist. She is a Licentiate of the Trichological Society (LTTS) and a member of the Society’s Governing Council. She was elected to President of The Society for the term 2008-2010. She qualified as a Trichologist with The Institute of Trichologists in 1997 and became a full member (MIT) in 2001

Sally-Ann has also worked as a Trichologist in the world renown Harley Street, London.

Sally-Ann first took an interest in this rather obscure profession after suffering severe injuries in a motorbike accident. The trauma of the accident caused her acute hair loss which initiated an interest in a career in Trichology. She realised that there were many other people suffering hair loss but there were no qualified Trichologist’s within the closest five counties (Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, West Midlands) to advise them. To date there is still no other full time dedicated Trichologists in this region.
